Leadership

James Lowe

Senior Pastor

Pastor James Lowe's ministry started long before the honorable title. Leadership began as president of his high school student body, and captain of the football team. With a full scholarship to Eastern Michigan University he, along with friends, started a campus ministry called Christ Within. This campus ministry went on to be a beacon of light that lead many young men and women to accepting Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives.

Throughout his college experience he received mentoring and discipleship from the beloved Ronald Winans, which prepared him for the road he travels now. After marrying his wife Debbie in 1995, James Lowe officially became Pastor James Lowe, and then pastored along side Founder and Pastor of Perfecting Church in Detroit, MI. Pastor Marvin L. Winans.

Pastor James Lowe holds a B.S in social work and has worked over sixteen years in youth development/ intervention programs and services. He played a crucial role in creating and implementing these services for the Detroit Michigan-Washtennah County Juvenile Court system, Martha O’ Bryan center in Nashville, Tn., and the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department. Pastor James has a proven track record for helping youth break the cycle of delinquency and underachievement to become productive members of society, and great business and personal relationships with some of Nashville finest organizations such as United Way of Nashville Tn., and The Outcome Based Investment Council.

Whether it’s the inner city, court room, board room, or the church, his ability to connect with the hearts of people, ignite purpose and vision, and then with wisdom produce - speaks of the quality of Leader he is.

James Lowe became Senior Associate Pastor of Bethel World Outreach Church in 2007, and was then appointed Senior Pastor in February of 2012.

He resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Debbie of 16 years and their three handsome sons James II, Jayson, and Jackson.
